Now more than ever, taking care of yourself is essential. An important part of staying healthy is taking your prescribed medicines the way your doctor tells you. As we are concerned about your health, we want to make sure you have enough of your medicines so you can follow your doctor’s orders.
You have a number of options to refill your prescriptions. Our Pharmacy Member Services team can help. Below are some questions for you to answer and some suggestions to consider.
Do you have at least a two-week supply of each medicine you take?
It’s important that you keep taking your prescriptions the way your doctor tells you. If you are taking any maintenance (long-term) medicines, you may want to have them refilled soon.
You don’t need to worry about having enough of your prescribed medicine on hand. We will allow you to get an early emergency refill at your local pharmacy. Your pharmacist will be able to submit the request for an emergency refill on your behalf.
Do you take medicines that you refill each month?
If so, you may want to think about changing your prescription from a 30-day supply to a 90-day supply.
If you don’t have a prescription for a 90-day supply, talk with your doctor. Ask if a 90-day supply would work for you.
If your doctor approves a 90-day supply, your doctor’s office can send your prescription to IngenioRx Home Delivery. Your medicine will be delivered directly to your door with no delivery fees.
Do you need to refill your medicine but can’t get to the pharmacy?
Many local pharmacies offer a delivery service. If you can’t use IngenioRx Home Delivery, please contact your current pharmacy to find out if they deliver.
